Heights: more than often or not, they give people excitement
or fear. But for us, at Passport Out, of course excitement! Who could hate a
360-degree view of this alpine city?!
Funicular Ride
Start your exciting journey with a ride at the Zaha
Hadid-designed funicular that would take you to the main event.
Lookout
Savor the 360-view of the whole city of Innsbruck from the
top of Nordkette. It arguably has the best views of the whole city!
Seegrube Restaurant
What’s a view without a restaurant? Munch all you want at
the Alpenlounge Seegrube and enjoy the stunning views while you eat to your
heart’s content. After enjoying your hearty meal, make sure to checkout the Sun
Terrace! Where you can lounge at the sun chairs all day long (best accompanied
with a hot choco, of course)
Tell me, are you more
on the excitement part or the fear part when faced with heights? Tell me below!

As much as the hustle and bustle of the Grand Canal appeals to me (yes it does), there's nothing more inviting than a walk along the city's secret back streets.

If there's one thing that never ceases to amaze me, that would be the fact that Asia has some really beautiful architecture. Don't get me wrong, I'm no architecture enthusiast but there's one thing I can assure you, I have an eye for some amazing looking curves and edges.

Along the historical Chinatown Street of Malacca, Jonker Walk, lies one of the beautiful reminders of Malaysia’s past; the Shophouse. Shophouses are usually two to three stories high, with the lower floor being utilized as a shop and the upper floors as a residential space.

Call me the details guy, but for me, it is always the small things that makes an escape extra special; a personalized hand-written letter, a welcome gift or a little something that makes you feel at home the moment you see it. I guess luck was on my side during my work slash business trip to Gaya Island Resort because I got all three.

As an art student, I am often attracted to the gradation of colors; especially when it happens in nature. On my recent trip to Malaysia, I was amazed by how a 15-minute jetty ride can change the colors in nature by a 180 degrees; from the solid color of city pavements to the turquoise blue waters of Gaya Island.

I don't know with you guys but for me its always the unusual that makes a place standout. Weird sculptures, gigantic landmarks, a building unusually taller than the other ones; all of these show a different kind of beauty that I really admire. And as a traveler, these are bits and pieces that I usually try to find.

Of course, like any other resort, Gaya Island Resort is no exemption in putting this notorious "don't disturb" room sign (I mean everyone wants privacy and cleanliness, right?). But what sets them apart from the others is this super awesome wood block with one side that resembles a girl doing the "hush!" hand gesture while the other one is a simple broom carving.
I adore these kinds of details; very unique yet not screaming with attention. Just the right amount of it

Its crazy how a simple five to eight minute boat ride can take you somewhere "out of this world" kind of silent and serene. You might think its impossible (I did too!) till I experienced it exactly two weeks ago in Gaya Island Resort in Malaysia.
