Singapore Airlines, Singapore's flag-carrier, launched their newest product earlier this morning; their own version of what seems to be the newest trend in the airline industry: The Premium Economy Class.

But really, what makes theirs more "Premium" than that of other airlines? Let's find out...

It's always better to be the priority

From check-in to baggage claim, you're in Singapore Airlines' priority list- with designated check-in counters, priority boarding and priority baggage handling: seriously, what more could a traveler ask for? but If you thought that was it, well hang-on there, buddy. Because this airline's giving you 35kg of baggage allowance! I know, I know, now you're thinking...it's always better to be priority!

Stretch it out!

With a seat-pitch of 19.5'' and an 8'' recline with foot and leg-rest, there's no reason for you not to stretch it out! Especially on that long-haul flight where comfort and privacy is the main variable.

Have fun or go home!

What to do on a flight? I could only think of one thing when I have a 13.3'' Full HD Monitor (biggest of its kind) in front of me...definitely a movie! With the noise-canceling headphones, in-flight movie watching has never gotten this REAL before but oh, you want to finish that book of yours? Well, you just gotta turn-on that personal reading light you got there, of course!

The right way is through the stomach

Possibly the best feature of the Premium Economy...well you just gotta "Book the Cook" before you fly! After all it's an exclusive for this class. And did I mention anything about Champagne? Well yes, that's a glass of champagne for you, buddy (and yes, that's booze althroughout the flight *wink*)

Earn it while you fly it

Could this possibly the smartest way to fly? Fly premium economy and earn 110% KrisFlyer Miles! Easiest way to book that next trip, of course. Now, who wants to fly
Premium Economy to Sydney on August?!

Given the chance, I'd definitely try Singapore Airlines' Premium Economy product, but what about you? Will you try their new offering? and do you think it's worth the additional penny?
