Recently, China Airlines received their stunning new aircraft; the Boeing 777-300ER. Since it is meant to take over most of their North American flights, it is designed to give utmost comfort with the introduction of their new state-of-the-art "Premium Business Class" seats.

I'm not gonna lie, whenever I'm faced with the question: "Who loves stopovers anyway?" I find it extremely hard to tell the truth. Call me weird, but I like my stopovers so much. Especially the ones I have in Hong Kong. I mean, who doesn't admire Chek Lap Kok's stunning architecture?!

Daikanyama is one of those places that people end up not visiting due to its proximity to Shibuya. I mean, once you see a photo of that huge pedestrian lane packed with people crossing, why would you not want to visit it? (plus that adorable Hachiko statue, of course) I didn't even visit Daikanyama 'till my recent trip. And I tell you, I loved it so much I had to go back twice!

I have a little confession, I was never an adventurous kind of person- I don't really keep track of how many times I asked myself why I'm a little hesitant when it comes to trying out new things (and I tell you, I've asked myself HUNDREDS of times already). Probably I have a fear of the unknown? or maybe I'm just a little obsessive/compulsive in that way. But it happens not so often that I don't think about my actions and sign-up for something that I end up enjoying: and that's exactly what happened during my recent trip to Gaya Island Resort.

As a kid, I never liked the beach (I know, who could
actually hate the beach?!), but yeah I did. Maybe because I was spending so much time in the
city that I wasn’t really used to living that kind of life. But recently all of
that has changed- I was sitting in a beach chair at the Gaya Island Resort
beach, sunglasses on, a cold beverage in-hand and looking at the horizon. I
asked myself: “How can I seriously hate all of these?!”

Of course, like any other resort, Gaya Island Resort is no exemption in putting this notorious "don't disturb" room sign (I mean everyone wants privacy and cleanliness, right?). But what sets them apart from the others is this super awesome wood block with one side that resembles a girl doing the "hush!" hand gesture while the other one is a simple broom carving.
I adore these kinds of details; very unique yet not screaming with attention. Just the right amount of it

Its crazy how a simple five to eight minute boat ride can take you somewhere "out of this world" kind of silent and serene. You might think its impossible (I did too!) till I experienced it exactly two weeks ago in Gaya Island Resort in Malaysia.
